The Paris Apartment is a fictionalized version of happenings in and around Paris during the WW2. It has all the elements of a great WW2 novel: the French Resistance, spies, downed airmen, hidden children, stolen artwork, and a modern day romance.

The author wove together 3 different points of view and a dual time frame expertly. The story kept moving forward, did not lag or get so muddled that it became confusing. It highlighted the role art played during the war and the devastation that took place as the nazis stole or destroyed it. Overall a great story based on the premise of what happened during the war.
