This is a unique, quirky, heartwarming story of a young woman and her father just trying to get by. 

I am a sucker for a heartwarming quirky books that take on super hard and deep concepts. Thorpe has created smart, but flawed, characters that are dealing with real life. She has packed 300 pages with many themes. These themes shouldn’t work together, but they are expertly put together in a fast paced story. Somehow, it all makes sense. I was rooting for Margo and Jinx throughout and had a hard time putting this book down. Fans of Kevin Wilson and Annie Hartnett will love this.
